Who does OfficeMax recognize as Diverse Suppliers?

OfficeMax only recognizes certified diverse suppliers who have 51% ownership by African Americans, Asian-Indian, Asian Pacific, Hispanic Americans,
Native Americans, Lesbian/Gay/Bi-sexual/Transgender or Women. These minority groups control the management and daily operations. The owner must be a U.S. citizen.
OfficeMax accepts certifications from the following agencies and their regional affiliates:

Tier II Reporting

If you are a Prime Supplier or Vendor for OfficeMax and have been asked to participate in our Tier II Program, login to begin the reporting process. OfficeMax's objective is to increase our company spend with certified diverse businesses and encourage partnership between primes and diverse vendors. This Tier II initiative is the process through which a Tier I (or prime) supplier/vendor utilizes diverse suppliers. Tier II spending involves all payments made to a MWBE for the purchase of goods and services used directly (in support of business with OfficeMax) or indirectly by a supplier.
